Uber and Pandora team up to offer ad-free listening during your ride

Uber and Pandora are teaming up to put a little music in your ride.

The streaming radio app announced Monday that it will now be integrated directly into the Uber app, with no ads and no subscription necessary. Only drivers will be allowed to control it at first, but Pandora says riders will be able to do the same thing soon. 

Uber announced a similar partnership with Spotify two years ago. 

“Pandora is delivering the perfect music experience for both Uber drivers and riders,” said Nick Marcantonio, senior product manager, Pandora. “Effortless, personalized and elegantly integrated into the app, the Pandora-Uber solution will transform the in-car listening experience.” Read more…
