T-Mobile strikes back at Verizon’s unlimited data plan



The unlimited data plan wars just got real ugly.

It hasn’t even been 24 hours since Verizon announced its new unlimited data plans and T-Mobile has already hit back with new additions to its own unlimited plan to match Big Red’s.

On Monday afternoon, T-Mobile U.S. CEO John Legere went on a tweetstorm to even the unlimited playing field.

In addition to slamming Verizon for copying its T-Mobile One unlimited plan, losing its network advantage, and still advertising that people don’t need unlimited data plans, Legere announced T-Mobile One, the company’s unlimited data plan, will also get HD-quality video streaming and 10GB of 4G LTE hotspot data for tethering starting on Friday.
