Huawei’s Honor 6X offers dual rear cameras for just $150

You shouldn’t have to pay a premium for dual real cameras on your smartphone. Just ask Chinese smartphone maker Huawei. 

Huawei’s online brand, Honor, today launched what appears to be the cheapest smartphone with dual rear cameras in China. Called the Honor 6X, the smartphone comes in three variants that start at RMB 999 ($150). 

The metal clad Honor 6X sports a combination of 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras on the back. However, there is no word yet how the two cameras work in tandem. There’s also an 8-megapixel selfie camera that goes along with them.   Read more…
