Google CEO Sundar Pichai to visit his Alma Mater during India trip

Sundar Pichai, who’s currently visiting India, will return to his Alma Mater on Jan. 5.

The Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur (IIT-K), a premier educational institution where Pichai earned his engineering degree in 1993, will host him, the Times of India reported

In what would be his first visit to the campus as Google CEO, he will address students in an interactive session titled “A journey back to the past to inspire the future”, confirmed IIT-K’s director.

Pichai had pursued Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the institute and even earned a silver medal for his performance. His wife, too, is an alumni of IIT-K. Read more…
