Apple celebrates Singapore’s National Day with curated list of apps



SINGAPORE — It sure looks like everyone’s excited for the country’s 51st birthday, Apple included.

On Friday, Apple released a specially curated collection of apps called “Being Singaporean” on its App Store ahead of National Day on Aug. 9.

The list features recommended apps and games for five groups of Singaporeans. They are:

1. The shiok foodie

Singapore has a reputation for being a food paradise and discovering new food haunts is many Singaporeans’ favourite pastime. Apps in this selection include restaurant reservation app Chope, dedicated food camera Foodie and food delivery service Deliveroo. Read more…
